Role Overview
We are seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer / Analyst to build and manage the company's reporting, dashboards, and analytics infrastructure.
This role will be responsible for converting ERP, POS, finance, inventory, and procurement data into structured insights that drive business decisions.
The position is based at our Vadodara Head Office and requires strong analytical capability along with business understanding.
Key Responsibilities
Data Integration and Management
- Extract and consolidate data from GoFrugal ERP, POS systems, Zoho applications, and internal platforms
- Ensure data accuracy, validation, and consistency
- Develop automated data pipelines where required
Dashboard and Reporting Development
- Design and build interactive dashboards for Sales, Inventory, Procurement, Production, and Finance
- Create outlet-wise and SKU-wise performance reports
- Automate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reporting
Business Analytics
- Analyse sales trends, margin performance, and cost variances
- Identify slow-moving stock and wastage patterns
- Support pricing, forecasting, and expansion decisions
- Develop KPIs across departments
Data Governance and Control
- Ensure data consistency across systems
- Work closely with ERP and Finance teams for reconciliation
- Maintain documentation of reporting structures and KPI definitions
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with department heads to define analytics requirements
- Provide decision-support insights to leadership
- Support working capital and inventory optimisation initiatives
Required Qualifications and Experience
- 3-6 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or MIS roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools
- Advanced Excel skills (including Pivot Tables, Power Query, and data modelling)
- Working knowledge of SQL and database structures
- Experience working with ERP or retail POS systems
- Retail, FMCG, or multi-location business experience preferred
