Business Intelligence Developer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Power BI Developer with expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing insightful Power BI reports and dashboards, integrating data from Business Central and other sources to support business decision-making. You will work closely with stakeholders to transform raw data into actionable insights that drive efficiency and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize key business metrics.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from Business Central Dynamics 365 and other data sources.
• Develop and optimize Power Query (M) and DAX formulas for efficient data modeling.
• Work with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and ensure data accuracy.
• Integrate Power BI with Business Central's APIs, SQL databases, and other Microsoft tools.
• Optimize Power BI performance, ensuring fast report loading and responsiveness.
• Automate report updates and data refresh schedules using Power BI Service.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues within Power BI and Business Central.
• Stay up to date with Power BI and Business Central best practices, updates, and industry trends.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Power BI Developer, with expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Strong skills in Power BI Desktop, Power Query (M), and DAX.
• Experience with Business Central tables, data structures, and APIs.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and transforming data from Business Central and other databases.
• Ability to design data models that ensure accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Azure Data Services (Azure SQL, Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, etc.).
• Knowledge of Power Automate and other Power Platform tools.
• Familiarity with Excel, SSRS, or other reporting tools.
• Microsoft Power BI or Dynamics 365 certification is a plus.
