Position Summary
The Business Intelligence Developer will be responsible for designing and developing dashboards, reports, data models, and analytics solutions that support business operations and strategic initiatives. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and leadership teams to understand reporting requirements and deliver impactful BI solutions.
The successful candidate should possess strong technical skills in BI tools, SQL, data modeling, and analytics while maintaining a business-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Business Intelligence Development
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, scorecards, and reports.
- Translate business requirements into technical reporting solutions.
- Develop KPI tracking mechanisms and executive-level reporting frameworks.
- Create self-service analytics solutions for business users.
Data Modeling & Warehousing
- Design and maintain dimensional data models.
- Develop and optimize data warehouse structures.
- Implement star and snowflake schemas.
- Ensure data consistency, integrity, and governance across reporting platforms.
ETL & Data Integration
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes.
- Integrate data from multiple internal and external sources.
- Automate data extraction, transformation, and loading workflows.
- Troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines.
Reporting & Analytics
- Generate actionable insights through advanced reporting.
- Build operational, tactical, and strategic reports.
- Perform data validation and quality assurance.
- Analyze trends, patterns, and business performance metrics.
Performance Optimization
- Optimize SQL queries and reporting performance.
- Improve dashboard responsiveness and scalability.
- Monitor data refresh schedules and report availability.
- Implement best practices for BI architecture and governance.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with business teams to understand reporting needs.
- Conduct requirement gathering workshops.
- Present insights and recommendations to leadership teams.
- Provide training and support for end users.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in:

Experience
- 6–8 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Reporting Development.
