Job Role: Consultant, Business Intelliegence
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical BI Dashboard Developer with a strong background in Fraud Risk Management within the payments industry. In this role, you will not just build dashboards; you will act as a key line of defense by developing visual analytics to monitor transaction trends, identify emerging fraud attacks, and communicate actionable insights to key stakeholders. You will focus on global payment products, including Peer-to-Peer (P2P) transfers, online checkout systems, and debit/credit card portfolios.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fraud Monitoring & Analytics: Continuously monitor transaction trends to identify anomalies, emerging fraud attack vectors, and risk exposures across P2P, checkout, and card products.
- Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports tailored specifically for credit and fraud risk monitoring.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights. Proactively communicate identified fraud trends and attack patterns to business analysts, risk strategists, and leadership.
- Data Extraction & Modeling: Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from various sources. Optimize data models and queries for performance and scalability.
- BI Integration: Connect Tableau to various data sources, including relational databases, cloud-based data warehouses, and APIs. Create calculated fields, parameters, and advanced Tableau features to enhance risk visualization.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure absolute data accuracy and consistency across all risk dashboards. Conduct thorough testing and QA of reports before deployment.
Required Qualifications:
- Domain Experience: 3+ years of proven experience in Fraud Risk Management, specifically within the Payments, Fintech, or Banking industry.
- Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of payment ecosystems, including P2P transactions, digital wallets, online checkout, and debit/credit card processing.
- Technical Expertise: Proven experience as a Tableau Developer with highly proficient SQL skills (e.g., complex joins, subqueries, window functions).
- Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. You must be able to look at a dashboard and understand the why behind the data.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Finance, or a related analytical field.
