We are looking for a business intelligence analyst who can organise and analyse data from various sources and create reports and metrics. He should be able to both deeply analyse data and succinctly explain metrics and insights from it to different stakeholders.
As a BI Analyst, you will be responsible for managing various data and metrics crucial to our business operations, including company sales and revenues, customer-level metrics, and product usage metrics. Additionally, you will collaborate with finance teams, assisting in tasks such as invoicing and cash flow management. This role also involves close collaboration with product and operations teams to analyse product metrics and enhance overall product performance.
Responsibilities
- Manage and analyse company sales, revenues, profits, and other KPIs.
- Analyse photographer-level metrics, e. g., sales, average basket, conversion rate, and growth.
- Analyse product usage data and collaborate with the product team to improve product adoption and performance.
- Perform ad hoc analysis to support various business initiatives.
- Assist the finance team in invoicing, cash flow management, and revenue forecasting.
Requirements
- Expert-level proficiency in Excel.
- Familiarity with one or more data visualisation and exploration tools, e. g., Tableau, Kibana, Grafana, etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable with analysing large amounts of data and finding patterns and anomalies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Experience in Python for data analysis, e. g., pandas, numpy, scipy, matplotlib, etc.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques.
- Experience with basic accounting, e. g., balance sheets, P and L statements, double-entry accounting, etc.
