Purpose

Responsible for leading and managing the organization to achieve its vision of promoting India as a skill capital of the world by catalyzing the creation of large, quality, and for-profit vocational institutions, secure funding & investments for skill development initiatives, develop and implement support services, and create skill development models that align with the needs of the economy

Key Responsibilities

· Lead P&L Responsibility.

· Spearhead international workforce mobility projects including designing programs, raising funds, and implementation & monitoring them.

· Provide advisory work to foreign governments and International Organizations on creating and managing skilling ecosystem.

· Liaison with international partners for training, certification, and placement opportunities for Indian candidates

· Provide advisory for national / international projects in the field of skill development and workon increasing the same.

· Create strategy to build NSDC as a knowledge hub & thought leader across various aspects of skilling at an international level.

· Work with international organizations such as International Labour Organization (ILO), International Organization for Migration & World Economic Forum on various skill development agendas.

· Work with Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India to implement various government skill Initiatives.

Knowledge and Experience

Education Qualifications

Bachelor's in business or relevant domains is required.

Master's degree in a relevant field such as business administration, economics, education, or public policy is preferred

Experience

· Minimum 20 years of experience of which 2-5 years should be in managing P&L responsibility.

· 3-5 years experience of managing Large Projects in International Worker Mobility or Skill Advisory Service.

· Fair understanding of National and International Legal Framework on International Mobility and Immigration.

· Exposure for corporate governance and board reporting.

· Exposure to cultural sensitivity and governance mechanism of multiple countries in each continent.

· 10+ years of experience in handling Large Teams.

Language

Skills

Must be fluent in English and Hindi.

Knowledge of International Language shall be an added advantage.
