About the Role

This role is the business owner for new paid users and winback revenue, accountable for designing and running the full growth engine across channels, product and telesales.

The Business Head - Hunting is responsible for delivering annual revenue targets from first‑time payers and reactivating lapsed customers while maintaining efficient CAC pay‑back and strong unit economics. The role converts high‑level revenue ambition into channel‑wise OKRs and then executes through performance marketing, partnerships, product‑led nudges and telesales motions.

What You Will Be Doing

Growth strategy and execution

  • Own the end‑to‑end hunting engine: paid channels, alliances, product nudges and telesales to deliver new‑payer and revival targets.
  • Translate annual revenue ambition into quarterly, channel‑wise OKRs; secure budgets and resources to meet them.
  • Establish operating rhythms (weekly funnel reviews, monthly growth reviews) that connect top‑of‑funnel activity to revenue recognition.

Channel and partnership development

  • Scale Meta, Google, LinkedIn, display and offline NEO channels; optimize spend to keep CAC pay‑back within target.
  • Build a business‑development motion to close bulk‑employer deals and strategic alliances.
  • Constantly scan the market for emerging partners and opportunities that expand reach at favourable economics.

Product‑led conversion and pricing

  • Lead checkout revamp and upgrade‑nudges in partnership with the embedded product pod.
  • Define discount guard‑rails, credit tests and pricing experiments for layered‑payer segments.
  • Integrate self‑serve and telesales paths to maximise overall conversion and ARPU.

Team leadership and productivity

  • Hire, mentor and develop a high‑performing team across growth PMs, performance marketers, analysts and telesales reps.
  • Drive telesales playbook adoption with sales‑enablement: calling scripts, pre‑trial offers and lead‑routing logic.
  • Retire legacy processes, minimise idle time and right‑size headcount to match demand fluctuations.

Data and experimentation

  • Own CAC/LTV, cohort and ROAS dashboards; run rapid A/B tests to guide spend, creative and pricing decisions.
  • Share actionable insights with Product, Finance and Leadership within 48 hours of anomaly detection.

What You Will Need

  • 10–12 years of experience with ₹250 crore+ P&L in a high‑velocity marketplace or SaaS environment.
  • Demonstrated mastery of performance marketing, telesales funnels and CAC optimisation with a track record of double‑digit revenue acceleration at efficient pay‑back periods.
