We are seeking a visionary and results-oriented Business Head to lead the development of a new B2B marketing solutions vertical for the alcoholic beverages industry in India. This is a leadership position with full P&L responsibility, ideal for a dynamic professional with deep industry expertise across sales, marketing, and distribution.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building this vertical from the ground uptransforming an existing consumer-facing content platform into a thriving B2B solutions agency.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Business Transformation
- Define and execute the overall strategy for transitioning a B2C content platform into a scalable B2B marketing solutions business.
- Establish differentiated B2B offerings tailored to the unique needs of alcoholic beverage brands operating in India.
- Position the company as a strategic thought leader and trusted advisor in this domain.
P&L Ownership & Financial Performance
- Lead end-to-end financial management for the B2B unit, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability.
- Drive revenue growth while optimizing operational efficiency and achieving margin targets.
Sales & Business Development
- Personally lead B2B sales efforts, establishing high-impact client relationships with marketing heads and brand decision-makers.
- Expand the pipeline through consultative selling, building strategic partnerships, and securing long-term engagements.
- Oversee proposal development and negotiate contracts to close high-value deals.
B2B Marketing & Communications
- Develop the go-to-market plan for the B2B vertical, incorporating digital outreach, PR, event participation, and brand storytelling.
- Guide the production of compelling marketing assets, sales decks, and case studies that showcase service impact.
- Ensure the current consumer brand aligns with the new B2B positioning.
Consulting & Market Entry Support
- Advise international brands on their India market strategy including regulatory guidance, distribution planning, and consumer behavior insights.
- Maintain a strong network of contacts across India's alcoholic beverage distribution landscape.
Team Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing cross-functional team across sales, client servicing, strategy, and project execution.
- Set performance benchmarks, foster a collaborative culture, and develop talent within the organization.
Operational Excellence
- Streamline processes for delivery of experiential campaigns, brand partnerships, community-building efforts, and IP creation.
- Ensure high standards of project delivery, client satisfaction, and operational scalability.
Candidate Profile:
Must-Haves:
- 1015 years of experiencein the Indian alcoholic beverages industry.
- Proven success inleading business units with full P&L ownership.
- Deep understanding ofsales, marketing, and distributionwithin the sector.
- Strong experience inB2B business developmentwith a focus on service-led solutions.

- MBA or equivalentfrom a top-tier institution (preferred).
Preferred:
- Prior leadership role at amarketing agency or consulting firmfocused on premium consumer brands.
- Experience launchinginternational beverage brandsin India.
- Strong existing relationships withhospitality, luxury, and lifestyle brands.
