Job Title: Business Growth Manager Digital Personal Loan

Location: Mumbai, Andheri East

Company Type: Fintech / NBFC

Reporting To: Head Personal Loan (Digital Business)

We are looking for a high-impact operator to drive growth, execution, and portfolio performance for our Digital Personal Loan business.

This role will focus on scaling business from existing sourcing channels such as LSPs, API affiliates, and web affiliates, optimizing funnel performance, and improving conversion across the lending lifecycle.

The candidate will work closely with Credit, Risk, Product, Technology, Operations, and Calling teams to ensure smooth execution, improve approval and disbursement rates, and maintain portfolio quality.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in digital unsecured lending, understands credit-risk trade-offs, and can translate strategy into operational execution and measurable business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute growth plans for the Digital Personal Loan business across affiliate, LSP, and API partner channels.
  • Drive lead activation, approval rates, and disbursement growth across partner ecosystems.
  • Identify opportunities to increase partner productivity and wallet share.
  • Implement cross-sell, repeat loan, and customer lifecycle strategies.
  • Support pricing strategy, offer design, and marketing campaigns to improve funnel conversion.
  • Manage and grow relationships with LSPs, API affiliates, and web affiliate partners.
  • Track partner-level metrics including:
  • Lead volumes
  • Approval rates
  • Disbursement conversion
  • Cost per acquisition
  • Identify funnel drop-offs and work with partners and internal teams to improve conversion and customer targeting.
  • Ensure partners align with product eligibility criteria, documentation requirements, and risk policies.
  • Work closely with Credit and Risk teams on:
  • Policy execution and rule optimization
  • Scorecard and underwriting performance tracking
  • Monitor portfolio health metrics including:
  • Delinquencies
  • PAR buckets
  • Roll rates
  • Early default indicators
  • Support initiatives related to fraud prevention, credit monitoring, and post-disbursal controls.
  • Coordinate with Operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding, verification, and disbursement processes.
  • Work with Technology and Product teams to improve partner integrations, APIs, and digital loan journeys.
  • Collaborate with Calling / Tele-sales teams to improve lead follow-ups, activation, and conversion rates.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance turnaround time and customer experience.
  • Track portfolio performance across sourcing channels.
  • Monitor collections efficiency, agency performance, and recovery trends.
  • Work with collections teams to improve early-stage delinquency management.
  • Drive improvements in portfolio quality and lifecycle management.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders including Credit, Risk, Tech, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and Collections.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, MIS, and business insights for leadership reviews.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to improve business performance and operational efficiency.

Experience

  • 24 years of experience in Personal Loans / Unsecured Lending
  • Experience in Fintech / NBFC / Digital lending platforms
  • Exposure to affiliate, LSP, or API-based sourcing models

  • Functional Skills

    • Strong understanding of digital lending funnel (lead approval disbursement)
    • Experience working with LOS/LMS systems, digital KYC, and bureau-based underwriting
    • Ability to coordinate with Credit, Risk, Tech, and Operations teams
    • Strong analytical skills to evaluate channel performance and portfolio trends

  • Education

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or related field
