Business Generalist Retail, E-Commerce & Operations

About the Role

Limese is a Korean beauty distribution and brand-building company operating across India, the UAE, and Europe. We work with some of the fastest-growing Korean beauty brands while also building brands of our own.

We're looking for a smart, curious and highly driven generalist who wants to learn how a consumer business actually works and gradually take on more ownership.

You'll work across retail, e-commerce, operations, commercial and business projects. There won't always be a perfectly defined brief — you'll be expected to figure things out, bring structure, and get things moving.

What You'll Do

• Work on projects such as new brand launches, marketplace rollouts, retail initiatives, market expansion and process improvements
• Turn broad priorities into clear actions, timelines and follow-ups
• Track sales, inventory, margins, sell-through and other key business metrics
• Build analyses, reports and presentations that help the team make decisions
• Work with brands, retailers, marketplaces, vendors and internal teams
• Identify problems and gaps, and work out practical ways to solve them
• Get hands-on when something needs doing — from analysing a spreadsheet to sorting out a stuck shipment
  

Who This Is For

• 2–5 years of experience in consulting, e-commerce, consumer brands, startups, business operations or a similar environment
• Strong with numbers and comfortable with Excel / Google Sheets
• Structured in your thinking but comfortable with ambiguity
• Curious and able to learn quickly
• Clear communicator who can work across different teams
• Takes initiative and follows things through without being chased
• Practical, hands-on and willing to get into the details
• Wants to build the skills and judgment to eventually own something themselves

Beauty experience isn't required. How you think, learn and take ownership matters more.

What This Role Is Really Like

This is a small, fast-moving business, so the work won't always fit neatly into a job description.

One day you could be analysing channel performance; the next, helping launch a brand, fixing an inventory issue, or preparing for a leadership meeting.

Some work will be strategic. Some will be operational. Some will simply involve figuring out something nobody has figured out before.

You don't need to come in knowing everything. You need to be someone who can learn, figure things out, and progressively take more off the team's plate.
