Job Overview
Key Responsibilities
Fundraising Support
- Lead 3-5 year strategic planning cycles in close collaboration with the CEO and functional heads
- Build and maintain complex financial models including financial forecasts, scenario and sensitivity analysis
- Assist in the preparation of pitch decks, company presentation, investor data rooms
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions and capital allocation
Financial Modelling & Forecasting
- Partner with business teams to translate operating plans into financial projects
- Own & lead AOP and rolling forecast cycles across business units
- Develop robust KPI frameworks and variance analysis mechanisms to track performance
- Support M&A evaluation, financial due diligence, and integration planning as required
Executive Communication & Investor Relations
- Develop and own Investor updates, Board presentations, Investor MIS and Business performance summaries on a monthly & quarterly basis
- Present complex financial data to C-suite, board members, and investors in clear, compelling narratives
- Connect financial metrics to operational levers, market dynamics, and strategic priorities
- Build a consistent narrative around company performance, vision, and strategic direction
- Drive process improvements through reporting automation, standardisation, and documentation of SOPs
Market Intelligence & Competitive Insights
- Track and analyse peer performance, valuation benchmarks, and investor sentiment
- Synthesize market feedback and inform strategic decisions for investor positioning
Experience
- 2–3 years of experience in FP&A, Business Finance, Financial Analytics, Consulting, or Business Analysis
- Prior experience in high-growth startups, fintech, insurtech, VC firms, or financial services is preferred
- Exposure to business finance, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, or financial planning will be an advantage
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, Pivot Tables, Lookup functions, dashboards)
- Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools
- Good understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Working knowledge of SQL or ERP systems is an added advantage
