Manager Business Finance (Planning, CX & Commercial Analytics)

Location: Bangalore

Business: Livspace - Business Finance

Reports to: Associate Director - FP&A

Primary Objective

Improve revenue quality and predictability by owning customer-led planning, pricing discipline, affordability analytics, and marketing ROI.

What You Will Own

A. Day-to-Day Ownership

  • Own monthly and quarterly planning cycles:
  • Revenue build-up by lead source, city, format, and customer segment
  • Conversion, AOV, and booking mix assumptions

  • Actively track lead-to-booking funnel health:
  • Organic vs paid leads
  • Qualified vs non-qualified leads
  • Drop-offs at each funnel stage

  • Own pricing and discount governance:
  • Track actual discounting vs approved slabs
  • Support pricing revisions and guardrails

  • Track affordability and EMI impact:
  • EMI adoption trends
  • Conversion uplift due to affordability levers

  • Own marketing vendor performance reviews:
  • Agency-wise ROI
  • CAC vs LTV by channel
  • Budget reallocation recommendations

B. Key Analyses & Outputs

  • City-wise conversion and AOV dashboards
  • Customer segmentation (first-time vs renovation, budget tiers)
  • Discount leakage reports with root-cause analysis
  • EMI / affordability sensitivity models
  • Marketing ROI scorecards (monthly & quarterly)
  • Scenario analysis: If conversion drops by X / AOV improves by Y

C. Stakeholder Interactions

  • Sales & Design leadership (conversion, pricing, discounting)
  • Marketing (channel ROI, vendor performance)
  • Product / CX teams (customer behaviour insights)
  • FP&A / MIS team (alignment of assumptions)

D. Success Looks Like

  • Fewer unplanned revenue surprises
  • Tighter discount control without hurting conversion
  • Clear visibility into why conversion / AOV moves
  • Marketing spends increasingly ROI-driven, not anecdotal

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Fluent in English, with the ability to clearly articulate insights to senior business stakeholders
  • CA / MBA / CWA/CFA/ B.Tech from T-1 colleges / CA - Intern with 69 years of experience in Business Finance, FP&A, Commercial Finance, or Growth Analytics
  • Strong understanding of customer funnels, conversion metrics, pricing, discounting, and affordability constructs (including EMI-led selling)
  • Sound knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, management accounting, and performance tracking, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Hands-on experience working with marketing teams, including ROI analysis, CAC tracking, and vendor performance evaluation
  • High analytical capability with advanced Excel / spreadsheet skills; ability to work with large, imperfect datasets in low-automation environments
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills to influence sales, marketing, and business leadership
  • Self-driven, structured thinker with the ability to operate independently and manage multiple priorities under tight timelines
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes in assumptions and business priorities
