Role Overview

You're the person who turns numbers into decisions. A patient pays an advance in USD, a partner hospital in Turkey needs a payout, and the founders ask, Are we actually making money on this case You're the one with the answer.

As Business Finance Manager, you own budgeting, forecasting and financial performance across CureMeAbroad. You partner with sales, operations and the founding team to plan spend, protect margins across our 350+ partner network, and keep cash flow predictable. Your core mission: turn financial data into clear plans the business can act on.

What You'll Actually Do (Day-to-Day)

• Budgeting & Forecasting: own the annual budget cycle, build rolling forecasts, and run monthly budget vs. actual reviews that drive action on variances.

• Financial Planning & Analysis: build models for new markets, partnerships and pricing, and analyse unit economics per patient case, country and partner hospital.

• Business Partnering: act as the finance partner to sales, operations and marketing; evaluate business cases, track CAC and channel ROI, and support negotiations with hospitals and vendors.

• Cash Flow & Treasury: manage cash flow and working capital, monitor FX exposure, and oversee reconciliation of patient payments, refunds and partner payouts.

• Reporting, Controls & Compliance: deliver accurate monthly closes and MIS, strengthen approval workflows, and support GST, TDS, FEMA/RBI compliance, audits and investor reporting.

• Team & Systems: mentor finance executives and improve reporting tools, automation and processes.

What We're Looking For

• Strong, demonstrable finance expertise: budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling, with the ability to turn analysis into decisions.

• CA, CMA, MBA (Finance) or equivalent, with 6 to 10 years in FP&A, business finance or financial controllership.

• Real exposure to multi-currency and cross-border payment flows, comfortable with FX, international transactions and the regulations around them.

• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills, experience with Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, SAP or similar, and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

• Working knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS and FEMA/RBI requirements.

• Clear communication: able to explain numbers to non-finance teams, with high ownership, integrity and discretion with sensitive data.

• Experience in a startup, healthcare, travel or marketplace business is preferred; exposure to fundraising or investor reporting is a plus.
