Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Finance Manager role based in Ahmedabad. The Business Finance Manager will oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to support Battery Dost's growth and operational efficiency. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial reports, monitoring cash flow, analyzing business performance, and providing data-driven insights to leadership for strategic decision-making. The role involves supporting business planning for new initiatives, evaluating investment opportunities, managing financial risks, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies. The Business Finance Manager will collaborate closely with operations, sales, and leadership teams to align financial objectives with overall business goals.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Finance and Financial Reporting skills, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, and preparing management reports.
• Candidates should possess robust Financial Planning and Business Planning capabilities to support strategic initiatives and long-term growth.
• Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and recommend actionable improvements.
• Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CFA, MBA in Finance) are an advantage.
• Experience in managing finance operations in a fast-growing or startup environment; exposure to EV, mobility, or energy sectors is beneficial.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling and spreadsheet tools, attention to detail, and the ability to present complex information clearly to stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, meet deadlines, and uphold high ethical standards and compliance with financial regulations.
