Roles and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Supporting Actions

Financial Reporting

  • Preparation of brand financials with all variance analysis at a monthly level
  • Track and help Brands / functions manage its spends with in budgeted norms
  • Develop dashboard for each of the key deliverables of Brand and monitor against the same and guide in achieving the same by providing timely, accurate information as may be required

Financial Planning

  • Preparation of brand annual operating plan
  • Preparation of Mid-month PNL
  • Co-ordinate with brand, channels and department heads for the inputs for the budget
  • Support for the BRC and Chairman presentation
  • Evaluate the changes in business environment and submit the latest estimate (LE) at a quarterly/monthly level

Retail Expansion and Operational Review

  • Develop retail deck for monitoring the retail performance by various metrics
  • Analyze the retail cost at a line item level and support the cost saving initiatives

Sales, Marketing and Sellex Analysis

  • Support the Brand with detailed analysis of NSV and Volume at the sub brand, channel , product, region and store level
  • Support Brand COO in terms of analysis of Discount Schemes to be run in the market, their impact on income statement, and track spends against the same.
  • Support in terms of Sales Promotion analysis, running in the market - retail, trade, departmental stores, liquidation channel etc.
  • Develop Market scheme trackers, manage over and under spends

Track and help Brands and channels to manage its sellex with in budgeted norms

Pricing and Inventory & Others
  • Monitor and analyze and track performance of PC to MRP ratios of products at sub brand level against targets
  • Discount analysis by channel for all categories
  • Secondary discount approval for Retail
  • DS and Retail New Store Proposal analysis
