Job Description

Job Title: - Business Finance Head – QITS

Location: - Bengaluru

Role Summary

The Business Finance Head – QITS will play a critical role in driving the financial strategy, profitability, and sustainable growth of the IT Staffing business. The role requires a strategic finance leader with deep expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and business performance management. The incumbent will work closely with the leadership team to provide financial insights, manage financial risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and support strategic decision-making while building and leading a high-performing finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Finance Responsibilities

• Partner with executive leadership to define and execute the long-term financial strategy for the QITS business.

• Provide financial insights to support business expansion, new service offerings, and market entry strategies.

• Drive profitability improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for revenue optimization and cost efficiency.

• Evaluate strategic investments, partnerships, and acquisitions through financial modeling and due diligence.

• Develop financial frameworks and KPIs to track the performance of the IT Staffing business.

• Lead financial scenario planning and risk assessments to support leadership decision-making.

• Build scalable financial models to support high-growth business environments.

• Align financial strategy with organizational goals to enable sustainable growth.

• Provide strategic guidance on pricing models, contract structuring, and margin optimization in the IT staffing business.

• Develop financial dashboards and analytics to enable data-driven business decisions.

• Act as a financial advisor to leadership on regulatory changes, industry trends, and financial risks.

• Optimize capital allocation and investment planning to maximize return on investments.

• Drive business transformation initiatives including finance process automation and digital finance capabilities.

Financial Planning & Business Performance

• Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting process for the QITS business. • Analyze financial performance by comparing actual results with budgets and forecasts. • Identify financial improvement areas and recommend strategies to improve profitability. • Support business leaders with financial insights to improve operational efficiency. • Monitor and control expenses to ensure adherence to budgetary guideline

Financial Operations & Governance

• Oversee all accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.

• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, statutory regulations, and internal financial policies.

• Strengthen internal financial controls and governance mechanisms.

• Ensure accuracy, transparency, and integrity in financial reporting processes

Reporting & Stakeholder Management

• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior leadership and stakeholders. • Provide actionable insights through financial analysis and management reporting. • Collaborate with business leaders to align financial and operational strategies

Cash Flow & Risk Management

• Manage cash flow by monitoring banking activities and optimizing working capital.

• Ensure liquidity to support operational requirements and strategic investments.

• Develop strategies to mitigate financial risks and strengthen financial stability.

• Monitor financial exposures and implement effective risk management practices.

Compliance & Audit

• Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations, laws, and accounting standards

• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure closure of audit observations.

• Monitor regulatory changes and communicate implications to leadership

Key Must Haves

• Strong financial leadership experience with expertise in financial planning and analysis.

• Deep knowledge of accounting standards, financial governance, and compliance frameworks.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance management.

• Proven ability to lead and build high-performing finance teams.

• Advanced proficiency in financial tools, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 15+ years of experience in finance leadership roles.

• Experience in IT services, IT staffing, or professional services industries preferred.

• Strategic thinker with the ability to support business growth through financial insights.

• Proven track record in managing finance operations in a fast-growing organization.

• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.

• Ability to influence senior leadership and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Education & Qualification required

• Chartered Accountant (CA) – Preferred

• Additional certifications in finance, business management, or analytics will be an advantage.

• MBA (preferred) or equivalent Degree in Finance
