About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Consultant


In this role, you will:

  • Participate in a variety of assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement by conducting root cause testing of all compliance and business metrics

  • Determine areas of strength or Business Execution opportunity within defined scope of work

  • Review and research strategies and action plans to establish effective processes while meeting performance metrics and policy expectations

  • Utilize independent judgment to guide moderate risk deliverables

  • Present recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for managing risks of the business

  • Exercise independent judgment and provide guidance in diverse support functions and operations for a single business group within a line of business

  • Collaborate and consult with leaders and executive management

  • Provide work direction toless experiencedStrategy and Execution staff


Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Should have at least 5+ years of hands-on product expertise in Oracle Flexcube, Oracle Banking Payments (OBPM), Oracle Banking Liquidity Management (OBLM).
  • Should have experience in Dev automation using Java, Selenium and similar tools/framework
  • Experience in automation framework designing, scripting, executing and maintaining automated test scripts
  • Should have at least 2+ years of hands-on experience in querying database using SQL/PLSQL
  • Should have prior working experience in Core Modules, Payments domain, Customer and Account setup and Interest Calculation
  • Should have working experience in Agile, familiar with software and defect lifecycles
  • Review and Analyze business requirements/FSDs and communicate for clarification if any
  • Should have knowledge in DevOPS. Working experience/knowledge in MAVEN, GIT and Jenkins will be required
  • Experience using HP ALM, Octane and JIRA to various SDLC processes and artifacts
  • Should have proven experience in estimation of book of work and define operational metrics
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Excellent communication skills with stakeholder management and effective escalation
  • Ability to work directly with the technology and business counterparts in globally distributed location
  • Should have collaborative attitude to work with local & distributed teams

Job Expectations:

  • Oracle Flexcube, Oracle Banking Payments (OBPM), Oracle Banking Liquidity Management (OBLM)
  • SQL/PLSQL queries
  • Automation using Java, Selenium
  • Agile methodologies (Scrum)
  • DevOPS, MAVEN, GITHUB and Jenkins
  • Working with functional partners to proactively and systematically manage delivery for International Operations.
  • Providing estimates for the effort required to complete testing on the Flexcube/Flexpay or strategic WIP applications.
  • Creating and executing test plans and scripts in accordance with project timelines
  • Impact analyses, process and procedure improvement recommendations, training recommendations. Defect management through automated testing tools.
  • Tracking multiple workstreams- reporting and advising of Risks and Issues.
  • Implementation planning and Time management.
  • Ensure plans and strategies are aligned with Wells Fargo Vision, Values & Goals.
  • Ensure compliance with appropriate policies and regulations.
  • Focus on continuous improvement. Monitor and evaluate test plans and strategies and re-align, as necessary.
  • Develop effective partnerships. Supporting peers and junior team members.
  • A proven background in Financial Services, preferably Payments/Treasury management
  • UAT Testing Experience and strong knowledge of testing standards and processes e.g., Actual and Logical day.
  • The ability to work within a defined project methodology including Agile and Waterfall
  • Experience with and knowledge of organizations, systems, and Operations functions, including Global Payments/SWIFT/FX/SEPA DD/ Multicurrency DDA Accounts
  • Experience with test tracking tools e.g., Jira/HP Quality Centre/Octane
  • Proven experience in delivering large, complex, and high-risk initiatives
  • Excellent oral, presentation and written communication skills, ability to deliver to a wide range of internal audiences
  • Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of complex, highly integrated businesses, and systems
  • Demonstrated ability to manage diverse and demanding workloads.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage to deadlines with limited supervision
  • Extremely well organized with a proven ability to prioritize effectively
  • Ability to work well under pressure and under tight deadlines
  • Excellent Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Detail-oriented and accurate
