Job Profile
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Trainee (Social Media) to support our growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will assist in lead generation, client outreach, and relationship management through social media platforms. This role requires strong communication skills, an understanding of social media as a business tool, and an eagerness to learn about sales, client servicing, and digital marketing strategies.
Roles and Responsibilities
Assist in identifying and generating leads through social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and other relevant channels.
Support outreach activities including cold messaging, follow-ups, and engagement with potential clients.
Research prospective clients, brands, and industries to identify new business opportunities.
Coordinate with the marketing and content teams to align outreach strategies with ongoing campaigns.
Maintain and update lead databases and track communication status.
Assist in preparing proposals, pitch decks, and basic reports.
Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
Support client onboarding and coordination once deals are closed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or currently pursuing).
00.5 years of experience in business development, sales, or social media-related roles.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with social media platforms, especially LinkedIn, for professional outreach.
Basic understanding of digital marketing and branding concepts.
Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a target-driven environment.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
