Role description
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Trainee to join our team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or early-career professionals who are interested in business development, client engagement, and the healthcare regulatory industry. The trainee will support the business development team in identifying new opportunities, conducting market research, and building client relationships while gaining hands-on experience in the regulatory affairs sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Research:
- Conduct basic market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and emerging opportunities in the healthcare and medical technology sectors.
- Lead Generation Support:
- Assist in identifying and maintaining prospective client databases through online research, networking platforms, and industry sources.
- Client Communication:
- Support the team in reaching out to potential clients through emails, calls, and meetings. Learn to present RegTrac's services and offerings effectively.
- Proposal & Presentation Assistance:
- Help prepare presentations, proposals, and marketing materials tailored to client requirements.
- CRM & Data Management:
- Maintain and update client information, sales activities, and lead status in CRM systems and internal trackers.
- Relationship Building:
- Assist in maintaining positive relationships with existing and prospective clients by understanding their needs and coordinating with internal teams.
- Sales & Team Support:
- Provide administrative and operational support to the business development team in achieving sales and business goals.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the regulatory affairs and marketing teams to understand services, industry requirements, and business strategies.
- Event Participation:
- Participate in webinars, conferences, and industry events to support networking and business promotion activities.
Required Qualifications
Education:
- Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, or a related field.
Experience:
- Freshers are encouraged to apply. Internship or academic project experience in business development, marketing, sales, or healthcare-related fields will be an added advantage.
Skills:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong willingness to learn and develop professionally.
