Job Title: Key Account Manager – Steel Fabrication & Heavy Engineering

Experience: 5 to 8 Years

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager to manage and grow relationships with key clients in the steel fabrication and heavy engineering sector. The role involves driving sales, ensuring customer satisfaction, and executing strategic business plans to meet revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage key accounts in the steel fabrication and heavy engineering industry.
  • Understand client needs and offer customized technical and commercial solutions.
  • Work closely with the engineering, production, and project teams to ensure timely delivery and quality.
  • Maintain strong CRM practices for ongoing client engagement and issue resolution.
  • Achieve sales targets through strategic planning, upselling, and client retention.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
  • Prepare proposals, RFQs, and coordinate pricing, terms, and negotiations.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Key Account Management, Sales, or Business Development.
  • Strong understanding of steel fabrication, heavy engineering, and infrastructure projects.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and client management systems.
  • Ability to convert strategies into executable business actions.
  • Experience minimum 5-8years in Steel fabrication/Heavy engineering
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
