Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced front-end Business Development professional to drive the
expansion of our Formulation (B2B & B2C) business in the US/Canada markets. The role
involves identifying new opportunities and customers in both innovator and generic sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate business cases for 505(b)(2) and Generic products, analyzing competition (brand & generic).
- Lead negotiations on contracts & commercial terms to achieve individual and team annual Sales Targets.
- Execute a structured travel plan to pursue new business opportunities—onsite meetings and networking conferences.
- Manage customer relationships and ensure seamless coordination with R&D, Project Management, SCM, Manufacturing, QA, Finance, and other cross-functional teams.
- Prepare and submit competitive costings and proposals in response to RFPs/RFQs.
- Ensure timely responses to RFIs (Request for Information).
- Develop promotional materials to support business development efforts.
Requirements:
- 8–12 years of front-end business development experience, with the ability to travel independently and frequently.
- Educational Qualification: B. Pharm / M. Pharm / MBA .
- In-depth knowledge of Generic Markets.
- Flexibility to work extended hours (aligned with local market time zones).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
