Business Development Specialist

Job Summary
The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for driving company growth by identifying, researching, and qualifying new business opportunities and strategically engaging potential clients. This role focuses on the top-of-the-sales funnel activities, setting up partnerships, and creating a robust pipeline to achieve revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
I. Market Research & Strategy
Conduct in-depth market research to identify target sectors, emerging trends, and new geographical or industry markets relevant to Capital Market / HFT Technology.
Analyze competitor activities and market positioning to identify key differentiators and develop compelling value propositions.
Collaborate with Marketing to develop and execute targeted outreach campaigns to generate qualified leads.
II. Prospecting & Lead Generation
Systematically source and qualify new leads through cold calling, professional networking, industry events, referrals, and digital outreach.
Identify key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations and initiate contact to establish rapport.
Develop customized introductory materials and pitches that articulate the value of Capital Market
Maintain a healthy and organized pipeline of prospects, meticulously tracking all activities and updates in the CRM software .
III. Relationship Management
Set up discovery meetings and product demonstrations for senior Business Development Managers or Account Executives.
Nurture initial prospect relationships to move them through the early stages of the sales process.
Qualifications & Skills
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in Sales, Lead Generation, or Business Development, preferably within Capital Market/Financial Services, FinTech, or SaaS.
Proven ability to meet or exceed targets for qualified meetings and pipeline generation.
Exceptional written and verbal communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proficiency with AI Lead generation tools like apollo.io, CRM software.
