Job Description

Job Summary:

The BD Senior Executive will be responsible for driving business development and sales in the Solar EPC sector, including client acquisition, tender participation, market research, relationship management, and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in Solar EPC
  • Generate leads through government tenders, private sector projects, and corporate clients
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective customers
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue goals

Client Relationship & Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Communicate proposals, solutions, and value offerings to clients
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms
  • Close deals and support post-sales coordination

Tendering & Market Research

  • Identify and analyze tender opportunities (Government & Private)
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and industry trend tracking
  • Maintain client databases, CRM records, and opportunity trackers

Strategy & Reporting

  • Analyze competitor strategies and market trends
  • Prepare sales reports, MIS, and business performance updates
  • Support growth planning and BD strategy implementation

Travel & Team Collaboration

  • Travel for client meetings and business development activities, if required
  • Support and mentor junior BD resources when needed
  • Coordinate with technical, proposal, and execution teams
