About the Role
We are looking for enthusiastic and driven Business Development & Sales Trainees to join our sales team. This role is designed for individuals who want hands-on exposure to corporate sales, client acquisition, and account management in a fast-paced business environment. High-performing trainees will be considered for a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) upon successful completion of the internship.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Assist in lead generation and prospecting through databases, cold calling, emails, and LinkedIn outreach
- Support the sales team in pitching travel and corporate service solutions to prospective clients
- Conduct initial conversations with potential clients to understand requirements
- Maintain and update sales trackers, CRM, and lead databases
Client Interaction & Support
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely follow-ups and proposal sharing
- Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and quotations
- Support client onboarding documentation and coordination
Market Research & Analysis
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis
- Identify new business opportunities and industry trends
- Assist in preparing MIS and performance reports
Skills & Competencies
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence in client interaction and phone conversations
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities
- Result-oriented and eager to learn sales processes
- Basic understanding of MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Professional attitude and business acumen
Eligibility & Requirements
- Pursuing or completed BBA / MBA / Graduate degree (Sales, Marketing, or Business preferred)
- Strong interest in Sales, Business Development, or Client Acquisition
- Ability to work in a target-driven and fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn corporate sales and travel industry processes
