Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
- Lead Research & Prospecting
- Identify 50-100 qualified leads per week through Reddit, LinkedIn, Facebook Groups, and other online platforms
- Monitor relevant communities for businesses discussing SEO challenges, link-building needs, or organic traffic issues
- Research company websites to assess their SEO maturity and potential fit for our services
- Identify decision-makers (Marketing Managers, SEO Specialists, Business Owners, Agency Owners)
- Extract and verify contact information (email addresses, LinkedIn profiles, phone numbers)
- Lead Qualification
- Score leads as Hot/Warm/Cold based on buying signals
- Document key information about each lead in the CRM system
- Database Management & Reporting (15% of time)
- Maintain an accurate and organized lead database in CRM
- Update lead status and add detailed notes from research
- Provide weekly reports on lead generation metrics
- Track which sources generate the highest quality leads
- Collaborate with the sales team on lead feedback and refinement
- Assess lead quality based on:
Budget capacity (company size, funding, industry)
Active SEO needs or pain points
Decision-making authority
Timeline for engagement
