Role Description The Business Development / Sales Intern will support Paathz in expanding its network of hospitality employers and talent partners through structured outreach and relationship-building. In this full-time remote role, the intern will assist with lead generation, qualify prospects, schedule and participate in virtual meetings, and maintain accurate records in CRM tools. Day-to-day tasks include conducting market research on hospitality segments, preparing sales materials and presentations, and helping follow up on inbound and outbound leads. The intern will collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to refine messaging, gather feedback from clients, and contribute to improving the overall sales process. This role offers hands-on exposure to B2B sales in a tech-driven hiring platform and the opportunity to learn directly from experienced business development professionals.

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage prospects, build relationships, and represent Paathz professionally.
  • Lead Generation and Market Research skills to identify potential partners, map target accounts, and support outreach campaigns.
  • Analytical Skills to interpret data, prioritize opportunities, and provide insights on market trends and prospect feedback.
  • Interest in business development, sales, or account management within technology or hospitality industries.
  • Comfort working in a remote, fast-paced environment with the ability to manage time and tasks independently.
  • Proficiency with productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, CRM or similar systems) is beneficial.
  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
