Job Description

Role Overview

As an SDR at Unicommerce, you will be the first point of contact for potential customers. You'll play a critical role in building pipeline by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospects across e-commerce brands and retailers in India. This role is ideal for someone who is highly driven, curious, and comfortable with outbound sales.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prospecting & Lead Generation

● Identify and research potential e-commerce brands, D2C companies, and retail businesses

● Build target account lists and generate leads via LinkedIn, databases, and other tools

● Run structured outbound campaigns (calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach)

2. Cold Calling & Outreach

● Conduct high-volume cold calls to introduce Unicommerce solutions

● Craft personalized outreach messages to drive engagement

● Consistently meet daily/weekly activity benchmarks

3. Qualification & Discovery

● Understand prospect needs, current tech stack, and pain points

● Qualify leads based on ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) and buying intent

● Conduct discovery conversations to identify fit and urgency

4. Pipeline Creation

● Book qualified meetings and demos for Account Executives

● Maintain accurate records of interactions in CRM (e.g., HubSpot)

● Ensure smooth handoff of qualified opportunities to the sales team

5. Market Intelligence

● Stay updated on e-commerce trends, competitors, and customer challenges

● Share insights from prospect conversations with marketing and product teams

Key Requirements

● 1–2 years of experience in B2B sales, inside sales, or SDR roles (SaaS preferred)

● Strong communication skills (verbal + written) in English and Hindi

● Comfortable with cold calling and handling objections

● Basic understanding of e-commerce, SaaS, or retail tech is a plus

● Familiarity with CRM tools like HubSpot, Easyleads, or similar

● Highly self-motivated, target-driven, and resilient What Success Looks Like
