Job Summary:
As a Business Development Representative(BDR) forUmoMobility,you'llplay a critical role inidentifyingsale opportunities, creatingqualifiedpipeline, and helping grow theUmoMobility business globally. This is a quota-carrying rolethatassistsour team indelivering sales.
The role of the BDR is tothoughtfullyresearch,executecustomeroutreach, anduse a variety of digital toolsto work efficiently and effectively in a complex,governmentsales environment.The role will often be the potential customer's first exposure toUmoMobilility, so communication skills that can beleveragedacross many countries, especially Europeanand North and South American locations, isa must.
Working with the Sales Manager and Sales Operations, generate pipeline of qualified opportunities through lead generation activities
Generate qualified meetings through strategic, personalized outbound and inbound follow-up
Research institutions and stakeholders to understand priorities, constraints, and decision dynamics
Operate in a metrics-driven environment, with regular review of activity, conversion, and pipeline performance
Continuously test, learn, and refine outreach approaches based on results
RepresentUmoMobilityin marketing activities including virtual or in person settings where appropriate
ExperienceWe'reLooking For
1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related role
Ability toworking toward measurable goals and tracking progress
Experience usingSales systemsand modern productivity tools
Interest inleveragingAI and automation to work smarter and faster
College degree preferably in Business, Marketing,or a related discipline
Direct experience working at or withpublic transportation entities
Familiarity withsalessystems (Salesforce,Hubspot)
Ability to speak multiple languages, especially for European or Latin and South American Countries
