We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to actively seek new business opportunities and engage with potential customers globally. This is a non-remote role for a fast-growing company. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in a sales or sales development role and a passion for all aspects of lead generation.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Actively seek new business opportunities by researching and identifying potential customers globally. This includes collecting relevant information about prospects, their companies, and industries to facilitate meaningful conversations.
- Sales Outreach: Nurture and qualify inbound leads and engage in outbound sales prospecting through cold calling, email, and social media to reach new potential customers.
- Relationship Building: Present the company to prospects, identify their needs, and suggest appropriate products and services. You'll build rapport and relationships across different cultures and geographies.
- Meeting Handoff: Set up quality lead meetings for Account Executives. You'll provide detailed notes on prospect interactions and deal insights to ensure the next steps are clearly defined.
- Performance: Consistently achieve assigned lead generation quotas and performance goals.
Skills Required
- Experience:1-3 years of experience in sales or sales development. Prior experience selling to HR Leaders globally is a plus.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate value propositions effectively.
- Personal Attributes: A self-starter with a passion for sales and a proven track record of success in a competitive environment.
- Collaboration: The ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization, including sales, marketing, product, and engineering.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work at flexible timings.
- Environment: Experience working in a fast-growth/startup environment is preferred.
