As we continue to scale our footprint in India, we are looking for a relentless, high-energy Outbound Business Development Representative (BDR) to hunt for new opportunities and fuel our sales pipeline.
About the Role
As an Outbound BDR, you will focus entirely on generating new business opportunities by prospecting, contacting, and qualifying corporate clients to schedule introductory meetings for our Account Executives. We measure outcomes. You will have full ownership of your outbound process and the autonomy to experiment, fail, and iterate, provided you convert mistakes into learnings.
Responsibilities
Lead Generation: Identify and research target companies and key decision-makers (such as HR, Operations, and Research executives) using LinkedIn Sales Navigator and ZoomInfo.
Outbound Outreach: Build and execute daily outreach campaigns through cold calling, email, and LinkedIn messaging.
Qualification: Conduct initial discovery calls to assess a prospect's research needs, current software setup, and budget.
Pipeline Management: Meet monthly quotas for qualified meetings scheduled and opportunities generated.
Data Logging: Maintain accurate records of all calls, emails, and prospect interactions in our CRM.
AE Collaboration: Work with Account Executives to coordinate smooth handoffs of qualified leads.
Qualifications
Experience: 2 years of experience in B2B sales, lead generation, or a customer-facing role. Experience in SaaS is preferred but not required.
Communication: Clear, direct verbal and written communication skills for phone calls and email outreach.
Persistence: Comfort with high-volume cold calling and handling rejection.
Organization: Ability to manage a daily schedule of prospecting, calling, and follow-ups independently.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with CRMs (Salesforce/HubSpot) and sales tools (Salesloft, Outreach, or ZoomInfo) is a plus.
Required Skills
Qualification Mastery: Mandatory familiarity with sales frameworks like BANT or MEDDPICC.
AI-Driven Efficiency: While standard tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Lusha) remain part of the stack, we expect you to leverage modern AI tools and workflows to increase your prospecting efficiency by at least 50%.
The Scale Challenge: In practical terms, if traditional 2016 workflows allowed a rep to book 30 meetings a month, we want someone who uses AI and smart processes to scale that output to 45+ meetings a month. We are looking for a builder who constantly thinks about optimizing output through technology.
Pay range and compensation package
Salary: Base salary + uncapped commission based on qualified meetings set.
