Job Overview
Everest Group is seeking a highly organized, action-oriented Business Development Representative (BDR) to support new client acquisition and pipeline development across our target markets. As an individual contributor focused on outbound prospecting and new logo acquisition, the BDR will identify target accounts and senior stakeholders aligned with Everest Group's Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), execute targeted outreach campaigns, and book qualified introductory meetings for the sales team.
This role is a critical part of our commercial engine, often serving as the front line of engagement with prospective clients and helping sustain a high-quality sales pipeline through consistent activity, strong messaging discipline, and outstanding prospect experience.
Key Responsibilities
What you will do
- Identify prospective accounts and relevant stakeholders aligned with Everest Group's Ideal Customer Profile (ICP)
- Partner with peers and sales leadership to develop relevant messaging and outbound campaigns
- Execute multi-touch outbound outreach using tools such as Outlook, LinkedIn, and Gong to generate interest and secure meetings with executive and senior stakeholder audiences
- Support a limited volume of inbound and marketing-generated leads and convert them into qualified meetings
How you will be measured
- Consistently exceed weekly and monthly activity targets, including outreach volume and stakeholder engagement
- Generate X qualified meetings through outbound prospecting efforts
- Add X contacts from target accounts to relevant Gong flows and complete all assigned Gong tasks
- Attend/review X sales calls, prioritizing meetings you have set when possible
- Send X LinkedIn connections with tailored relevant intro messages
- Submit X bot-driven contact mining requests and ensure contacts are accurately uploaded to Salesforce

- Maintain accurate logging of activity, outreach outcomes, and meeting progress in CRM and sales engagement tools
- Communicate clearly and efficiently with sales partners to ensure strong handoffs and shared context
Required Aptitude/Skills
The ideal candidate:
- Has 1–4 years of experience in business development, outbound prospecting, or demand generation in a B2B environment (professional services, research, or technology experience preferred)
- Has strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for senior stakeholder audiences
- Is comfortable engaging director- and executive-level stakeholders within large, complex organizations
- Is highly organized, detail-oriented, and motivated by measurable activity and performance goals
- Possesses experience using CRM and sales engagement tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Gong, or similar platforms
- Has a strong capacity to learn quickly, provide feedback, and adapt to client situations
- Is adaptable to changes in roles and responsibilities
- Is coachable and embraces personal growth
