Role Description
The Business Development Representative (BDR) will be responsible for generating qualified meetings for Superset's campus placement automation platform by engaging large enterprises through outbound prospecting. This includes reaching out to target accounts via calls, email, and LinkedIn, identifying the right stakeholders, and booking high-quality discovery meetings for the Account Executive team. The role is focused purely on pipeline creation, with success measured by the number and quality of meetings booked and their conversion to qualified opportunities
Key responsibilities
- Plan and execute weekly and monthly outbound prospecting activities
- Identify and target relevant enterprise accounts and stakeholders (HR, Talent Acquisition, Leadership)
- Engage prospects through multi-channel outreach including calls, email, and LinkedIn
- Qualify prospects based on predefined criteria and business relevance
- Schedule high-quality discovery meetings for the Account Executive team
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of outreach and pipeline activity in CRM
- Collaborate with Account Executives to align on target accounts and improve meeting quality
Requirements
- Have 25 years of professional experience, with at least 1 year in B2B SaaS or outbound sales roles
- Have hands-on experience with outbound prospecting (calls, email, LinkedIn
- Actively use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, automation tools) to improve prospecting efficiency, personalization, and research
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
- Show creativity in crafting outreach and breaking into target accounts
- Are comfortable engaging senior stakeholders (HR, Talent Acquisition, leadership teams)
- Have experience selling into mid-market or enterprise accounts (preferred)
- Are highly organized with the ability to manage high-volume outreach and follow-ups
- Are driven by targets and comfortable working in a metrics-driven environment
