As a Business Development Representative at Bicycle.ai, you will play a foundational role in creating and scaling our sales development function. You will be responsible for outbound prospecting, generating and qualifying leads, and setting up meetings with potential customers. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with the founders and shape the go-to-market motion at a high-growth AI SaaS startup
Responsibilities
- Conduct proactive outbound outreach to potential prospects in industries such as retail, fintech, and travel, leveraging LinkedIn, CRM systems, and targeted research.
- Generate and qualify new sales opportunities by communicating the value of Bicycle.ai s AI-powered agentic analytics platform in real-time revenue protection and growth.
- Educate prospects on how Bicycle.ai helps detect revenue leaks, uncover growth levers, and automate actionable insights.
- Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to refine messaging, outreach strategies, and lead qualification criteria.
- Maintain thorough records of outreach activities and pipeline status within CRM.
- Schedule qualified meetings for the sales team to advance pipeline progress.
- Continuously develop your knowledge of industry trends, competitive landscape, and AI analytics capabilities.
- Provide feedback to product and marketing teams to help improve market fit and messaging.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of sales development, lead generation, preferably in B2B SaaS, AI, or analytics solutions.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding lead generation and meeting-setting targets in outbound sales roles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and educate technically-minded prospects.
- Comfortable with high-volume outbound prospecting and persistence in follow-up.
- Experience using CRM tools and sales engagement platforms.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, growth-oriented, and resilient.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
