Role Overview:

The Business Development Representative (BDR) – Ads Business will play a critical role in driving outbound pipeline generation and strategic account development across regions. This role requires a highly proactive individual with strong outbound prospecting experience, understanding of the media and advertising ecosystem, and the ability to engage senior stakeholders across broadcasters, OTT platforms, agencies, advertisers, and FAST partners. You will work closely with Sales, Revenue Operations, Marketing, and Product teams to identify opportunities, generate qualified meetings, and contribute to Amagi's advertising revenue growth.

What will you own

Prospecting & Pipeline Generation:

  • Identify and research high-potential accounts across regions within Broadcast, OTT, FAST, CTV, Advertising, and Media sectors.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting through email, calls, LinkedIn, and social channels to generate qualified opportunities.
  • Engage with senior decision-makers including Revenue Heads, Ad Sales Leaders, Digital Strategy teams, and Content Monetisation stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified meetings for the Ads Sales team.

Account Mapping & Market Research:

  • Partner with Sales leadership to prioritise strategic target accounts and growth markets.
  • Conduct account mapping to identify key stakeholders, buying centres, and organisational structures.
  • Stay updated on regional media trends, advertising shifts, FAST ecosystem developments, and competitive landscape.

Campaign Execution & Sales Collaboration:

  • Execute outbound campaigns aligned to regional GTM priorities and Ads business objectives.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams on messaging, outreach sequences, and vertical-specific positioning.
  • Contribute insights from prospect conversations to improve targeting and campaign effectiveness.

CRM & Operational Excellence:

  • Maintain accurate CRM hygiene and activity tracking within Salesforce and prospecting tools.
  • Ensure timely logging of prospect interactions, account updates, and qualification notes.
  • Provide structured handoff notes and qualification summaries to the Sales team.

What are we looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Business Development, SDR/BDR, or Sales roles within SaaS, AdTech, MediaTech, Broadcast, OTT, or Digital Advertising industries.
  • Proven success in outbound prospecting and pipeline generation across markets.
  • Strong understanding of the media, advertising, OTT, FAST, or connected TV ecosystem.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience using Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach.io, and modern prospecting tools.
  • Self-driven, highly organised, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Additional Asian language proficiency is an added advantage.
