Job Description

Job Purpose

To drive key business initiatives in alignment with the bank's strategic objectives and ensure leadership in the business banking segment through customer engagement, lead generation, cross-selling, and portfolio management.

Key Responsibility Areas & Actionables

1. Branch Management

  • Scope existing RM/PB customers for lead generation and conduct joint calls using available branch resources.
  • Plan and execute catchment area activities to generate leads.
  • Activate RM/PB participation through regular interactions and initiatives.
  • Drive excitement and engagement in branches through spot sanctions, contests, and recognition programs.

2. Lead Generation & Logins

  • Follow up on customer calls for document collection and arrange pickups.
  • Validate completeness of financial and KYC documents.
  • Analyze financial statements and bank data for churn, bounces, and interest servicing.
  • Collect property documents and verify legal chains and valuations.
  • Clarify customer queries and capture discussion outcomes via FAQs.
  • Update SPE systems and submit documentation to operations and legal/valuation teams.
  • Conduct buyer/supplier reference checks and generate referral leads.

3. Cross-Selling

  • Act as a single point of contact for EEG clients, offering a full range of banking solutions (e.g., Insurance, CASA, Credit Cards, and other Asset Products).
  • Continuously monitor and track cross-sell leads and conversions.

4. Renewals

  • Maintain a rolling list of renewals two months in advance.
  • Initiate early customer communication and document collection.
  • Conduct follow-ups twice a week for pending documents.
  • Validate documents, analyze financials, and address discrepancies.
  • Complete SPE entry and submit files to operations for scanning.
  • Oversee post-login procedures and manage overdue renewals, including requests for extensions when applicable.

5. CAM Conditions & OBA Review

  • Perform monthly reviews of OBA churn and CAM conditions.
  • Address and escalate deviations or conditions as necessary.

6. Portfolio Management & Housekeeping

  • Work to reduce housekeeping (HK) items and close aging or critical issues.
  • Prepare and update SVRs, Call Memos, plant visit reports, and related documentation.

7. Insurance Follow-Up (Stock & Property)

  • Communicate insurance premium requirements to clients.
  • Collect and verify necessary documentation.
  • Ensure submission to operations for timely processing.

Role Summary

This is a customer-facing, performance-driven role requiring strong coordination with internal teams (branches, ops, legal, credit) and external stakeholders (clients, valuers, vendors). The role aims to drive business volumes, maintain portfolio hygiene, and deliver superior service experiences.
