Role Description: Business Development Officer

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Navi Mumbai. The Business Development Officer will play a key role in driving growth by identifying new opportunities, acquiring clients, and strengthening relationships across global markets.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining long-term client relationships.
  • Leading new client acquisition and expanding SCT's footprint in domestic and international markets.
  • Providing sales and after-sales support to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Conducting product demonstrations and delivering technical presentations.
  • Understanding customer requirements and offering solutions that best meet their needs.
  • Coordinating closely with the engineering team to address technical inquiries.
  • Achieving sales targets through lead generation, cold calling, and effective deal closure.
  • Traveling across the country for client meetings, demos, and market development.

Qualifications
  • MBA in Sales, Marketing, Operations, or International Business (preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years proven experience in Sales and After-Sales Support.
  • Strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Self-motivated individual contributor with high ownership.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Willingness to travel extensively; strong skills in cold calling, lead generation, and deal closure.
  • Presentable, confident, extroverted, and professionally sensible.
  • Sales experience in the water treatment industry is an added advantage.
