About The Role
As the
Business Development Officer – AI Courses at
Mumbai, you will play a pivotal role in driving
B2C admissions for IIDE's Artificial Intelligence programs. This role focuses on strengthening admissions outreach, improving learner conversions, and contributing to the growth of IIDE's AI program vertical.
The role involves
consultative selling, admissions counselling, and pipeline management, while leveraging strong AI understanding, tech fluency, and communication skills to explain AI concepts effectively and career outcomes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold high standards across admissions, learner engagement, and AI program growth.
What You'll Do
- Lead Generation & Outreach:
Engage in B2C outreach through
calls, walk-ins, consultations, events, and webinars.
Build and maintain a strong admissions pipeline for
AI programs.
Leverage prior B2B exposure, where applicable, for
institutional tie-ups, workshop opportunities, and corporate leads.
- AI Program Pitching & Consultative Selling:
Deliver impactful presentations explaining
AI curriculum, tools, workflows, and career outcomes.
Simplify complex
AI concepts for non-technical audiences.
Apply
SaaS-style consultative selling techniques to understand learner needs and drive conversions.
- Sales & Revenue Management:
Consistently achieve
weekly and monthly admissions targets.
Manage the
entire sales cycle, from inquiry handling to enrolment closure.
Utilize
CRM tools for lead tracking, pipeline management, and conversion optimisation.
- Relationship Building & Market Insights:
Build trust-driven relationships with
students, parents, and key stakeholders.
Stay updated on
AI market trends, demand patterns, and competitor offerings.
Represent IIDE at
events, information sessions, orientations, and AI-focused activities.
Support
AI-related masterclasses, webinars, and information sessions.
Share learner insights with
marketing and academic teams to enhance the overall learner journey.
Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by management, aligned with the broad scope of the position.
Who You Are
2–5 years of experience in B2C/B2B sales, admissions counselling, consultative sales, or SaaS selling.
Strong understanding of
Artificial Intelligence concepts, tools, and market trends.
Proven experience in
high-quality consultative selling and conversion-driven environments.
Excellent
communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience using
CRM platforms for lead and pipeline management.
Prior experience in
EdTech, SaaS, technology, or AI-related industries.
Ability to explain
technical concepts in a simple and learner-friendly manner.
Experience handling
events, webinars, workshops, or institutional partnerships.
Exposure to
AI tools, automation workflows, or emerging technologies.
Experience in
career counselling, admissions, or education consulting.
Relevant certifications or training in
AI, technology, or sales methodologies.
