Why This Role

HyperVerge is entering the MEA market, and this role is at the frontline of that journey. As our Founding BDR for MEA & Africa, you'll open high-value conversations, warm up strategic accounts, and build the earliest outbound motion for the region. You will be the person who gets us in the room with the region's most influential decision-makers.

We're not looking for someone who just follows tasks — we're looking for a builder. Someone who is curious, resourceful, and relentless enough to break into new markets, experiment with new approaches, and co-create our GTM motion from scratch.

This isn't a typical BDR role. It's your opportunity to shape HyperVerge's story in MEA and build a new revenue engine from the ground up.

What You'll Do (and Own)

  • Craft Target Lists: Turn market data into ICP-rich, hand-curated prospect lists that actually make sense.
  • Run High-Intent Outreach: Across email, LinkedIn, and phone, with messaging that's crisp, contextual, feels human and not another AI's response copy pasted.
  • Qualify the Right Prospects: Dive deep into prospect pain-points, needs, and readiness. You're not here to spam, you're here to connect.
  • Drive PQO → SQO: Partner closely with AEs to move good-fit prospects into the pipeline and ensure hand-offs feel like magic.
  • Use Tools Like a Pro: Automate workflows using sales enablement tools. Save time. Scale smartly.
  • Hit (and Beat) Targets: Consistently aim to exceed your quotas on meetings booked and opps qualified.
  • Own CRM Hygiene: Keep Salesforce squeaky clean with accurate logs, follow-ups, and notes.
  • Test, Learn, Repeat: Treat prospecting like an experiment - A/B your messages, try new sequences, share learnings.
  • Level-Up Continuously: Learn from peers, leaders, and competitors. Bring new ideas. Share what's working. Become a go-to expert in your space.

You'll Thrive If You Are:

  • Curious about markets, patterns, and GTM motion, especially in MEA Region
  • Naturally persistent and thrive on hitting clear goals
  • Strong at relationship-building and verbal + written communication
  • Fast on your feet, coachable, and not afraid to try (and fail)
  • Tech-savvy and structured in your approach to prospecting

You Must Have:

  • 3-5 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales / business development
  • A track record of success in outbound prospecting, especially in enterprise or regulated industries
  • Prior experience working with or selling to BFSI clients
  • Exposure to the SEA market, especially Philippines and Indonesia (or strong readiness to ramp up fast)
  • Strong understanding of CRMs and outreach tools like Apollo, Outreach, Salesloft, etc.
  • A hustler mindset and the willingness to go deep on ICPs, buyer journeys, and messaging
  • Ability to work from our Bangalore office (relocation supported)
