Business Development Manager (Goa, India)

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Business Development Manager, based out of Goa, India. The Business Development Manager will be the driving force behind our market expansion. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle—from identifying and generating new leads through aggressive cold calling to conducting in-person meetings with hotel partners to close deals.

The role involves managing sales pipelines, conducting market research to stay ahead of hospitality trends, and delivering tailored digital solutions that meet client objectives and boost company revenue.

Salary - 5L- 6L/Annum + 1L incentive/annum

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities through research, networking, and high-volume cold calling.
  • Partner Engagement: Schedule and conduct face-to-face meetings with hotel owners and decision-makers to demonstrate the value of Zotel's ecosystem.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Manage the end-to-end sales process, from initial outreach to contract signing and handoff.
  • Strategic Growth: Develop and execute strategies to increase market share within the Goa region and beyond.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed on competitor offerings and hospitality technology trends to provide consultative solutions to clients.

Qualifications

  • Core Sales Skills: Proven expertise in Business Development, Sales Strategy, and Lead Generation.
  • Field Experience: Comfortable with cold calling and conducting on-site professional meetings with hotel partners.
  • Relationship Management: Strong skills in building rapport, client retention, and long-term account management.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to perform market research and analysis to create winning sales pitches.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Performance: A proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.

Bonus Points for:

  • Prior experience selling SaaS (Software as a Service) products.
  • Deep knowledge of Digital Marketing, OTA platforms, or modern Booking Engines.
  • Existing network within the Goa hospitality and hotel industry.

Work Environment

  • Type: Full-time, Onsite.
  • Location: Goa, India (Requires local travel for partner meetings).
  • Should have Laptop and car/bike for meetings.
