Business Development Manager

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role based in Kozhikode. The Business Development Manager will identify and develop new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with clients. Responsibilities include conducting market research, building pipeline, prospecting and hitting the team sales target. The role involves close collaboration with academic and marketing teams to align offerings with customer needs, contribute to enrollment growth, and provide feedback for product improvement. The Business Development Manager will also track sales performance, prepare regular reports, and represent XandY Learning at events, seminars, and outreach activities.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in business development, sales, and client relationship management, preferably in the education or edtech sector.
• Ability to conduct market research, analyze data, and identify growth opportunities in target regions and segments.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders including parents, students, and institutional partners.
• Organizational and planning skills to manage multiple leads, follow-ups, and partnership implementations effectively.
• Comfort working with CRM tools, productivity software, and basic reporting dashboards to track performance and outcomes.
• Bachelor's degree is mandatory, B.Tech or BBA degree preferred.
• Prior experience in JEE/NEET coaching business development is highly beneficial.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented mindset and readiness to work on-site in Kozhikode, with occasional travel as required.
