Job Description

We are hiring a Business Development Manager who can drive growth for Wilmarcs Motion Pictures by identifying the right opportunities, building strong client relationships, and converting briefs into business.

This role is ideal for someone with prior experience in video production, creative agencies, branding agencies, media companies, digital agencies, or related service-based industries, and who understands how premium creative work is pitched, sold, and managed.

This is not a generic sales role.

This is a consultative, relationship-driven role focused on bringing in the right kind of clients and projects.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across sectors such as corporate, manufacturing, technology, startup, real estate, healthcare, education, hospitality, CSR, and events
  • Generate qualified leads through outreach, networking, LinkedIn, referrals, partnerships, and strategic prospecting
  • Build and nurture relationships with brand managers, marketing leaders, founders, HR teams, CSR heads, communication teams, and decision-makers
  • Create opportunities for films, branded content, event storytelling, leadership communication, employer branding, and creative content mandates

Sales & Client Acquisition

  • Understand client briefs, business objectives, communication goals, timelines, and budgets
  • Lead discovery calls, meetings, presentations, follow-ups, and early-stage proposal discussions
  • Work closely with internal creative and production teams to shape commercially strong and executable solutions
  • Present Wilmarcs Motion Pictures as a premium creative and production partner
  • Handle objections, negotiations, commercials, and closures with maturity

Account Growth

  • Grow existing relationships into repeat business and long-term partnerships
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across different content and film requirements
  • Maintain strong client trust through clarity, responsiveness, and solution-oriented communication

Market & Strategy Contribution

  • Track industry trends, client behavior, and competitor activity
  • Identify high-potential sectors and outreach directions
  • Support refinement of the company's sales process, go-to-market approach, and lead qualification system

Required Experience

  • 3–7 years of experience in business development, sales, client servicing, partnerships, or account growth
  • Prior experience in one or more of the following is highly preferred:
  • video production company
  • creative agency
  • branding agency
  • media company
  • digital marketing agency
  • event or experiential agency
  • communication-led service business
  • Proven ability to generate leads, build client relationships, and close service-based business
  • Strong understanding of consultative selling in a creative or marketing-led environment
  • Ability to engage professionally with senior stakeholders

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Has sold video, creative, branding, digital, media, or communication services before
  • Understands how to sell ideas and solutions, not just rates
  • Can identify serious opportunities and filter poor-fit leads
  • Has confidence in handling premium clients and multi-stakeholder conversations
  • Understands the balance between creative ambition, execution feasibility, and commercials
  • Brings ownership, consistency, and business maturity

Compensation

  • Fixed salary + performance-linked incentives
