Role Mandate
The Business Development Manager Admission will lead a pod of Admission Counsellors and drive end-to-end funnel performance.
This is a revenue-owning leadership role accountable for:
- Conversion performance
- Team productivity & coaching
- CRM & process compliance
- Parent & student experience standards
The role demands equal ownership of numbers, behaviour, and process discipline.
Key Accountabilities
1. Revenue & Funnel Ownership
- Drive pod-level performance across:
- Lead Application
- Offer Acceptance (O2A)
- Acceptance Enrollment
- Maximize lead utilization and offer conversions
- Proactively intervene in stalled, high-risk, and high-value cases
- Ensure achievement of cycle-level revenue targets
2. Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Admission Counsellors
- Set structured daily, weekly, and cycle-based expectations
- Conduct:
- Call audits
- Structured feedback sessions
- Performance reviews
- Coach on:
- Consultative selling frameworks
- Objection handling
- Parent engagement
- Closing strategies
- Drive accountability while sustaining morale and culture
3. Strategic Execution
- Guide advisors on program positioning and differentiation
- Strengthen ROI-driven conversations with parents
- Ensure competitive positioning in student discussions
- Align follow-ups and conversions with admissions timelines
4. Governance & Process Discipline
- Ensure CRM hygiene and accurate funnel tracking
- Enforce compliance with admissions policies and communication standards
- Maintain documentation integrity across applications and enrollments
5. Culture & Capability Building
- Onboard and ramp new team members
- Institutionalize best practices and call frameworks
- Promote ethical admissions standards
- Build a high-performance, ownership-driven team culture
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience
- 5+ years in:
- Admissions
- Education sales
- High-ticket consultative inside sales
- Mandatory prior experience in managing a sales/admissions team
- Proven track record of driving conversion metrics
- Experience handling complex parent escalations preferred
