Role Overview:
We are looking for a Business Development Manager with up to 5 years of experience in the travel industry to drive trip bookings and revenue growth. This role will focus on lead conversion, customer relationship management, sales strategy, and scaling travel sales operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive trip bookings and revenue growth through effective sales strategies
- Handle inbound and outbound travel inquiries and convert leads into confirmed bookings
- Guide travelers through trip itineraries, pricing, and booking processes
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers throughout the booking journey
- Lead and mentor the travel sales team to achieve sales and revenue targets
- Monitor team performance and support with lead management and objection handling
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to improve trip conversions and customer experience
- Track leads, sales pipelines, and performance metrics using CRM tools
- Analyze sales trends and identify opportunities to improve conversions and revenue
- Ensure a seamless and positive customer booking experience
Requirements:
- Experience: 1-5 years in business development, travel sales, or travel consulting
- Prior experience in the travel or hospitality industry preferred
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable handling calls, follow-ups, and lead nurturing
- Ability to work towards sales, booking, and revenue targets
- Experience leading or mentoring a team is preferred
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting
- Interest in experiential travel and community-led trips
