Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Palghat. This role is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, including partnerships with schools, colleges, coaching centers, and corporate training clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include generating and qualifying leads, meeting prospective clients, presenting The Learners Hub's offerings, and closing enrollment or institutional deals. The Business Development Manager will track market trends, maintain strong relationships with existing partners, and collaborate with marketing and academic teams to design targeted campaigns and promotional activities. The role also includes regular reporting on sales pipelines, forecasting revenue, and suggesting strategies to expand reach in key regions.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in business development, sales, and relationship management, with a proven ability to generate leads and close deals.
- Experience in educational services, edtech, or training industry, with an understanding of CA/CMA or professional exam preparation preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, including the ability to explain offerings clearly to students, parents, and institutional partners.
- Ability to use CRM tools and basic data analysis to manage pipelines, track performance, and make informed business decisions.
- Self-driven, organized, and comfortable working toward targets, with strong problem-solving and stakeholder management abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in Palghat and travel locally or regionally as required.
