Role Description

The Business Development Manager (Supply Chain & Operations Practice) will be responsible for driving business growth in the supply chain and operations domain by identifying new opportunities and establishing relationships with clients and industry leaders. Daily tasks include lead generation, understanding client needs, identifying and empaneling the right supply chain and operations talent/skills in Supply chain, managing client proposals, negotiating contracts and managing key account relationships.

The role also involves collaboration with consultants and internal teams to align strategies with client needs.

This is a contract-based, hybrid role based in Mumbai, with the flexibility to work remotely part of the time

Qualifications

• Strong business development and lead generation skills within the supply chain & operations domain - in particular Procurement, Operations Excellence and Capital Projects / PMO
• Proficiency in client relationship management and ability to craft tailored business solutions
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and consultants
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail
• Prior experience in consulting or supply chain management is highly desirable
