Job Description

Job Title: Business Development Manager – South India

Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka (Extensive travel across Chennai and other South Indian cities)

Experience Required: 10–14 Years

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to lead business growth initiatives across South India for our HVAC&R product portfolio. The candidate should possess strong industry knowledge and a proven track record in sales, business development, channel management, and customer engagement within the Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, and HVAC&R industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive business development and sales growth across South India.
  • Conduct planned sales visits to Consultants, OEMs, Industrial End Users, Builders & Developers, Architects, and key influencers to generate enquiries and develop new business opportunities.
  • Promote company products and solutions while enhancing brand visibility and market presence.
  • Educate customers and stakeholders on new products, technologies, and industry developments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key decision-makers to ensure continuous enquiry generation and business conversion.
  • Develop and strengthen dealer, distributor, and channel partner networks across the region.
  • Identify and develop service partners through dealers and distributors to ensure effective after-sales support and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with internal sales, technical, operations, and service teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, business plans, and periodic market intelligence reports.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to the overall growth strategy of the organization.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) or a related technical discipline.
  • 8–14 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Channel Management, or Market Development within the HVAC&R, Air Conditioning, or Refrigeration industry.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC&R products, applications, and market dynamics.
  • Established network with Consultants, OEMs, Contractors, Builders, Developers, Architects, and Industrial End Users.
  • Experience in managing and developing distribution networks will be an added advantage.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
