Lead Generation & Business Development
- Identify potential clients in Commercial & Industrial sectors for solar rooftop and ground-mounted projects
- Develop new business opportunities through cold calling, site visits, references, and networking
- Build and maintain strong relationships with EPC partners, consultants, and channel partners
2. Client Engagement & Relationship Management
- Understand client power consumption patterns and energy requirements
- Educate clients on CAPEX and OPEX business models, third-party PPA, and Open Access mechanisms
- Maintain long-term relationships for repeat business and referrals
3. Site Evaluation & Feasibility Coordination
- Coordinate with technical teams for site surveys and feasibility studies
- Assess rooftop strength, shadow analysis, and electrical infrastructure
- Gather required documents like electricity bills, sanctioned load, and roof layout drawings
4. Proposal Development
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals based on client requirements
- Coordinate with engineering and finance teams for accurate project costing
- Present ROI analysis, savings projections, and payback calculations to clients
5. Negotiation & Deal Closure
- Negotiate commercial terms, payment conditions, and contract clauses
- Handle Power Purchase Agreements (PPA), Lease Agreements, and EPC contracts
- Ensure timely closure of deals to meet monthly and quarterly sales targets
6. Project Coordination & Execution Support
- Act as a bridge between clients and internal project teams
- Coordinate for project approvals, permits, and DISCOM approvals
- Ensure smooth handover from sales to project execution team
- Monitor project progress and keep clients informed
7. Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Track competitor pricing, offerings, and market trends
- Identify emerging opportunities in Open Access, Group Captive, and Virtual Net Metering
- Provide market feedback to management for strategy planning
8. Documentation & CRM Management
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales pipeline in CRM
- Prepare sales forecasts and monthly performance reports
- Ensure proper documentation for contracts, LOIs, and agreements
9. After-Sales Support & Client Retention
- Coordinate for service support and complaint resolution
- Ensure performance monitoring and generation reports are shared
- Maintain customer satisfaction for long-term O&M contracts
