Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead and expand our solar business in Kerala. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in solar EPC projects and channel/distribution management, with proven capability in driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and developing strategic partnerships across residential, commercial, and industrial segments.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop new business opportunities in solar EPC and distribution
- Handle sales for rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects
- Manage and grow distributors, dealers, and EPC partners in Kerala
- Generate leads, prepare proposals, and close deals
- Coordinate with internal teams for project execution
- Achieve sales targets and maintain customer relationships
- Track market trends and competitor activities
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in the solar industry
- Experience in EPC projects and distribution sales
- Good knowledge of solar PV systems and the Kerala market
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Willing to travel within Kerala
Preferred Skills
- Strong local market network in Kerala
- Experience with government and private tenders
- Knowledge of state and central solar policies, net metering, and approvals
