Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager (BDM) Service Sales (B2C) will be responsible for driving customer acquisition, revenue growth, and market expansion of service offerings in the B2C segment. The role demands strong sales acumen, customer relationship management skills, and the ability to develop highimpact strategies to increase service penetration and renewals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Revenue Growth
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for service offerings.
- Drive B2C service subscriptions, renewals, and upsell opportunities.
- Maximize revenue through strategic territory management.
2. Prospecting & Lead Generation
- Build a continuous pipeline of potential customers through field visits, digital sources, referrals, and partner networks.
- Execute local marketing activities to enhance lead volume.
3. Customer Engagement & Relationship Management
- Conduct customer meetings, demonstrations, and service presentations.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable service solutions.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and timely resolution of issues.
4. Business Strategy & Market Intelligence
- Track competitor activities and provide key market insights.
- Assist in creating and executing territory development plans.
- Recommend new service offerings or enhancements based on customer feedback.
5. Negotiation & Deal Closure
- Prepare accurate commercial proposals.
- Handle pricing negotiations within company guidelines.
- Ensure smooth onboarding of customers after deal closure.
6. Reporting & CRM Management
- Update CRM tools regularly with leads, opportunities, and closures.
- Submit weekly and monthly sales performance reports.
- Track key KPIs like conversion rate, revenue achievement, and customer retention.
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with service delivery, operations, marketing, and customer support teams.
- Support marketing campaigns and field events to boost visibility.
Key Skills & Attributes:
- Strong expertise in B2B/Enterprise Sales with a proven record of winning and growing large corporate accounts.
- Experience in selling Printers, Thermal Printers, Kiosks, or related smart hardware solutions.
- Excellent CXO-level engagement, consultative selling, and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinker with an execution-driven mindset.
- Ability to build, lead, and inspire a high-performing enterprise sales team.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
- MBA preferred (not mandatory).
- 38 years experience in B2C sales, service sales, or business development.
- Experience in sectors like Hardware AMC for Enterprise and End User Device, managed Services, End User Services, managed Print services.
