Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Client Acquisition:
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities with importers, exporters, and other businesses requiring freight forwarding services.

  • Sales & Target Achievement:
  • Develop and execute sales plans, manage proposals and presentations, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.

  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients, providing consultation and ensuring their logistics needs are met.

  • Market & Industry Analysis:
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging customer needs to identify business opportunities.

  • Contract Negotiation:
  • Negotiate rates, terms, and service agreements with potential and existing clients to close deals effectively.

  • Operational Coordination:
  • Collaborate with operations, sales, and finance departments to ensure seamless delivery of services and provide customer support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 - 4 years prior industry related business development experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
  • Focused and goal-oriented
